The purpose of Fremont's Enterprise Zone is to foster economic and community development by utilizing real and personal property tax abatement incentives.

Manufacturing, Warehousing, Research & Development and Distribution Center operations that are qualified by financial responsibility and create or preserve jobs may be eligible to apply for tax abatement in the City of Fremont.

Fremont Revolving Loan Fund 

Fremont's Revolving Loan Fund was established in 1985 to stimulate economic development by providing financial assistance to businesses that employ persons who are economically disadvantaged.

Interest rates are below prime rates and terms vary in accordance with the project and CDBG guidelines must be met.
