Fremont City Council will be holding a special City Council meeting on Sunday, August 6, 2023. The meeting will begin at 6:00 pm and will be held in the basement of City Hall located at 323 South Front Street.
The following will be the agenda items:
- A resolution directing the Board of Elections of Sandusky County to place upon the ballot at the primary election to be held November 7th, 2023 the question of approving an ordinance to amend section 172.01(B)(2) of the codified ordinances of the City of Fremont to impose an additional one-quarter of one percent (0.25%) income tax effective January 1st, 2024 for a period of five (5) years to be used solely for the construction, repair, improvement, and maintenance of streets and roadways including related debt charges in the City and appurtenances thereto and declaring an emergency.
