Dear Resident/Business Owner,
The City’s contractor for the W. State Street intersection improvements project will begin work as outlined below, weather permitting.
- July 7 -8: Asphalt milling of the intersections
- July 13 -14: Placement of the fibermat layer
- July 16 -17: Asphalt resurfacing (Night operations from 6 pm to 6 am)
W.State is our busiest roadway in the City and traffic maintenance will be a challenge. There will be detours in place to route traffic around the work zones, however it is intended to keep one lane of traffic open in each direction when the contractor is working.
